Visit the Weaponsmith NPC (unlocked at Fear Level 30). You need materials like Devil Blood, Fiend Organs, and Rare Organs from surgery kit extractions.
Start with a Standard Katana (15,000 Yen) or Broad Axe (50,000 Yen). Both are reliable, affordable, and teach you the combat system.
Use the weapon in combat! Each hit grants proficiency XP. Higher proficiency unlocks weapon skills and damage bonuses. AFK farm at safe zones for passive gains.
